Even if we treat your case as "no cure, no pay", there are still a number of costs associated with handling your case - and those costs will of course be greater if we have to send your case for compensation to court, in order to get the airline to pay you your money. Therefore, our fees are also higher for cases that have been in court.
Transparency is important to us and we have therefore created a table below that shows exactly how much you will get in compensation if we succeed in recovering your flight compensation.
The amount is per passenger:
Your journey was | Lawyer Assigned | No Lawyer Involvement |
---|---|---|
under 1,500 km. and delayed more than 3 hours | 120 € | 175 € |
1,500-3,500 km. and delayed more than 3 hours* | 180 € | 285 € |
over 3,500 km. and delayed between 3-4 hours | 140 € | 215 € |
over 3,500 km. and delayed more than 4 hours | 280 € | 435 € |
*This rate also applies to flights within the EU of over 1,500 km. It is therefore the highest rate for EU to EU travel.
The amount will be paid to your account as soon as the airline has paid the compensation to travelrefund.com.
TravelRefund assists and guides you in both situations. Your claim for a refund and coverage of expenses is also processed under the "no cure, no pay" concept. In these cases, we take 20% of your claim if the case is resolved without the need for court proceedings.
If the case goes to court, we will refer the case to one of our partners, and in this situation, we take 50% of your claim due to further cost to the partner.
